Brussels Celebrates Photography

January 21, 2022

The sixth edition of the PhotoBrussels Festival takes place from January 21 to March 26, 2022.
The PhotoBrussels Festival, established in 2015 by the Hangar Photo Art Center, is set to take place for the sixth time. From January 21 to March 26, 2022, photography fans are presented with a rich programme of exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, conferences and panel discussions. The festival locations are spread across the city – with around 40 participating venues ranging from galleries, museums and cultural centres, all the way to bookshops and schools. The Hangar Photo Art Center forms the epicentre of the festival, and will host the main exhibition: ‘In the Shadow of Trees’.

A detailed map takes visitors on a full Festival Tour through Brussels, opening up a unique chance to (re)discover the medium of photography. The featured artists include Olaf Otto Becker, Pascal Maître and 2017 LOBA winner Terje Abusdal, among many others.
