photo basel is inviting visitors to the Volkshaus Basel for the third time. The art photo fair will be hosted there from June 14 to 18, 2017. This third edition of the event is by far the most international one to date: about 38 exhibitors from 16 countries and 5 continents will be represented at photo basel 2017. While photo basel is expanding thanks to some additional galleries, the fair remains faithful to the concept of a “high-quality boutique fair”.
Works by the following artists, among others, will be on display: Werner Bischof, René Burri, Simone Kappeler, Arnold Odermatt, Edward Burtynsky, Joel-Peter Witkin, Luigi Ghirri, Michael Kenna, Pablo Ortiz Monasterio, Robert Mapplethorpe, Roger Ballen and Vincent Fournier.
