Photo Basel in Berlin

Photo Basel joins this year’s Positions Berlin Art Fair, open from September 10 to 13, 2020.

To promote a return to real-life encounters with photography, Photo Basel will be a special guest at this year’s Positions Berlin Art Fair – which takes place at the city’s Tempelhof Airport building from September 10 to 13. The 2020 edition of Paper Positions Berlin (postponed from April) will now run in parallel at the same venue. Both expos form part of the Berlin Art Week which, in turn, coincides with the Berlin Gallery Weekend 2020 and the Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art.

Launched in summer 2015, Photo Basel has evolved into one of the world’s leading expos for photography-based art. Its aim is to provide a platform that connects all protagonists of the art world – collectors, gallerists, curators and artists – in order to foster international dialogue and exchange.
