Encounters with Photography

The 8th edition of the biennial ‘Rencontres Photographique du 10ième’ is set to take place in Paris from October 14 to November 16, 2019. During this time, the city’s 10th district will entirely revolve around the medium of photography. A large number of galleries throughout the 10th arrondissement take part in the month-long event. Even hotels, small shops and the district’s guildhall will serve as exhibition venues to showcase works by some 400 participating artists from all over Europe. In addition, numerous outdoor exhibitions can be found in parks and passageways, as well as along streets and on bridges. Guided tours, book presentations, portfolio viewings and artist talks complete this rich and exciting programme.
