Leica Store Paris-Beaumarchais starts the new year with a vibrant feast: the showcase ‘Colors’ with works by Cedric Roux continues until April 4, 2020.
The artist, who has been working with the Leica Q since 2017, has dedicated years to his passion for street photography: “It’s taken me a long time to capture scenes of everyday life in the way that I had envisioned,” Roux explains. “It wasn’t until my first trip to New York in 2012 that I was finally able to overcome my shyness and share my pictures with the world.”
Ever since this pivotal breakthrough, the French photographer has documented the streets of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tokyo and Havana with continuing enthusiasm. The exhibition in Paris now offers an overview of the artist’s dynamic oeuvre.
