From 31 January to 6 April, 2019, the Leica Store Paris is exhibiting images by photographer Jean-Christophe Béchet, who has been photographing the theme of the "American Dream" for over sixteen years.

The result of this pursuit was a trilogy of books. The exhibition in the Espace Photographique of the Leica Store Paris consists of the last two series Petits Paysages Américains shot in black & white with a Leica M6 and a 35mm lens as well as Eureka USA, a colour road movie about two cities called Eureka that are 1000 kilometres apart, one in Nevada and the other in California.

With Petits Paysages Américains Béchet wanted to counter the ubiquitous American landscape photography, which he finds rather pompous and exaggerated.

On 16 and 17 February 2019 Jean-Christophe Béchet will give a workshop for Street Photography. More information about the registration can be found here.
