From 9 March 2018, the Fisheye Gallery in Paris presents an exhibition of photographs by Thibault Lévêque. Titled Swim at Your Own Risk, the show continues until 21 April 2018.
Despite having received no formal training, the work of the French photographer (born 1989) has gained considerable recognition within the industry. In 2012, Lévêque started out by publishing his images on social media such as Facebook and Tumblr. Just two years later, he held his first exhibition at the Nivet-Carzon Gallery in Paris. Since then, Lévêque has embarked on extensive travels through the USA, England, Belgium as well as Asia. On his journeys, he photographs virtually everything he encounters – without any sense of judgement or evaluation.
The exhibition at the Fisheye Gallery coincides with the release of Lévêque’s latest book, simply titled Passion.
