In ‘Someone Lived This’ – the Spanish duo’s first exhibition in Paris – the artists question the reality of our memories. The viewer is invited to see works of art as helpful aids on our journey into the realm of our imagination, and as facilitators of fictitious memories.
The sources of the duo’s inspiration range from their travels to literary influences as well as works of art they have found particularly moving. Over the course of several years, Albarrán Cabrera have developed unique printing processes that combine traditional silver, cyanotype and platinum palladium printing with the use of pigments, Japanese paper and gold leaf. The results are precious, magical images that serve as open windows into another world.
On 24 October 2019 at 6 p.m. the vernissage will take place in the presence of the artists.
