In the ‘Curiosa’ section, artistic director Anna Planas introduces 17 artists who are featured at Paris Photo for the very first time. This year’s expo also includes a new sector specifically dedicated to digital photography. Curated by Nina Roehrs, it comprises a selection of images sourced from various galleries and online platforms, which exemplify the symbiosis between photographic art and new technologies.
Additional events – such as panel discussions, artist talks, the Paris Photo Aperture PhotoBook Awards, and almost 300 artists’ signing sessions – offer plenty of opportunities for personal encounters and inspiration. Visitors can undoubtedly look forward to a special week of celebrating the medium of photography, set against the unique backdrop of the French capital’s exciting art scene and rich cultural heritage.
