From 1 July to 27 August 2016, the Galerie &CO119 in Paris presents the exhibition I wish to see where the winds meet, featuring 7 large format Photo-Lithographs at 80 cm x 120 cm and 8 exclusive heliogravure prints by British Leica photographer Christian Bragg.

The exhibition is based on a photo-book of the same title, published by the Paris-based artist (born 1979) in 2016. The hand-crafted volume, containing 37 exclusive heliogravure prints created by Fanny Boucher, is a rare collectors item. In addition, the book is also available in an offset-print version. Limited to 280 volumes, this edition was chosen as the LFI Book of the Month in March 2016.

I wish to see where the winds meet is the result of Bragg's personal journey, driven by a quest for revelation and the search for oneself. His analogue black and white images, taken with a Leica M7 à-la-carte, capture contrasts that go beyond those of dark and light. The photographer offers up a personal story of memories, a 'novel written in images' that inspires the viewer to imagine their own narrative.
