Share:

This year's Leica Oskar Barnack Award goes to the Swedish photographer JH Engström (1969). Engström wins it with the series Tout Va Bien.

In addition to prize money amounting to 25,000 euros, he will receive Leica M camera equipment also worth 10,000 euros.

The Newcomer Award this year goes to Wiktoria Wojciechowska from Poland. Wojciechowska receives it for her series Short Flashes, also winning Leica M camera equipment worth 10,000 euros and prize money amounting to 5,000 euros.

Once again this year, LFI has produced a special edition issue for the Oskar Barnack Award 2015, which will be available at the beginning of July (pre-order now). With around 86 pages, it presents portfolios of the winner and finalists of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2015 and the winner of the Newcomer Award 2015.

The LFI special editions from 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 are still available in German and in English versions at the LFI shop.
