Join Eileen McCarney Muldoon and Olaf Willoughby and take a fresh path to exploring your photography.
The idea of seeking artistry through examining the works of the masters is thousands of years old. We will tap into this through the Japanese practice of Shu Ha Ri which embodies this principle of study, assimilate, innovate.
In this practical and intensive one day workshop Eileen and Olaf will be examining the works of some of the masters of photography to inspire you to explore a new visual style. But this isn’t simply about copying.
As Basho said,“Do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the wise; seek what they sought.” Our workshop is about thinking, seeing and shooting in new ways. And it is about carrying that inspiration back into your solo work.
There is only one requirement: send us, in advance, 6 images which you feel represent your current work.
The workshop takes place on July 26th at Leica Store SoHo, 460 W Broadway, New York, NY 10012
The fee is: $150
