Infinity Awards 2015

On 1 May, the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York, presented the 2015 Infinity Awards.
The Infinity Awards are widely respected as the leading honor for excellence in the field of photography. The awards are also ICP’s largest annual fundraiser and support all of our programs, including exhibitions, education, collections, and community outreach.

This year’s honorees included Graciela Iturbide (Cornell Capa Lifetime Achievement Award), Larry Fink (Art Award), Question Bridge: Black Males by Chris Johnson, Hank Willis Thomas, Bayeté Ross Smith, Kamal Sinclair, and Jesse Williams (New Media Award), Tomas van Houtryve (Photojournalism Award), “The Notion of Family” by LaToya Ruby Frazier (Publication Award),Evgenia Arbugaeva (Young Photographer Award), The Lean In Collection, by Getty Images & LeanIn.Org (Trustee Award), and Mario Testino (Special Presentation).

Since 1985, the annual ICP Infinity Awards have recognized major contributions and emerging talent in the fields of photojournalism, art, fashion photography, and publishing. Past winners include Richard Avedon, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Elliott Erwitt, Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, André Kertész, William Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, Annie Leibovitz, Mary Ellen Mark, Gordon Parks, Marc Riboud, Malick Sidibé, Ai Weiwei and Jürgen Schadeberg.
