Hamburg’s Visulex Gallery for Photography presents the ongoing long-term project of internationally renowned, multi-award-winning photographer Nomi Baumgartl, who is also a Leica ambassador. The showcase continues until August 12, 2021.
The core concept of Eagle Wings is a three-level visual dialogue between the perspective of an eagle soaring above Alpine glaciers, satellite images recorded from space, and the artist’s personal view of nature. Somewhere between heaven and Earth, these perspectives intersect to form fascinating and moving messages about our natural world.
The exhibition is dedicated to the late curator Klaus Tiedge.
