Until August 29, 2020, Villa Pérochon in Niort, South of France, dedicates a major showcase to the oeuvre of Swedish photographer JH Engström.
The presentation, which was organised with the support of the Jean-Kenta Gauthier Gallery in Paris, comprises more than 450 works created over the past two decades.
Engstrom uses photography and film to document personal experiences, emotions, meaningful locations of his past or current life, and subsequently places them in relation to each other. His work has been exhibited worldwide and honoured with numerous awards. In 2015, Engstrom was recognised with the Leica Oskar Barnack Award for his series ‘Tout Va Bien’.
