The Genshagen Foundation has launched an Open Call on the topic of ‘Neighbourly Relations in Europe’. Submissions close on September 30, 2020.
How do photographers living in the ‘Weimar Triangle’ – comprising Poland, Germany and France – view the relationship between their countries? To what extent are their perceptions shaped by digitisation, globalisation and societal change? What impact do these three neighbours have on the process of European integration?
By launching the photo competition ‘Shaping Cohesion – Neighbourly Relations in Europe’, the Genshagen Foundation invites photographers and photography students from Germany, France and Poland to present their individual perspectives on the topic of neighbourliness. Participants must be aged between 18 and 35. Entries in the form of a photo series, consisting of 6 to 12 images, can be submitted to the Genshagen Foundation until September 30, 2020.
