1st prize – Cheng Nan-Huang
Capture the message of a song in seven images – this was the challenge of the 3rd Music Photo Contest, organised by LFI and Edel AG for the magazine Vinyl Stories. Participants were able to choose from a list of songs by Jay-Z, Algiers, Lorde and Vince Staples.
From the pool of 9 finalists, the jury has now selected the 5 winning entries.
And the winner is…
The first prize goes to Cheng Nan-Huang for his series inspired by the song Legacy by Jay-Z. We congratulate the winner on the publication of his series in Vinyl Stories magazine, along with a handsigned Alice Cooper LP!
In second place is Andrea Comalini, who addressed Algiers’ Animals with a sequence of emotional images. His series will also be publicated in the Vinyl Stories magazine.
The third prize goes to David Evans for his series inspired by the song Animals by Algiers.
The forth prize goes to Sam A Choo for his series inspired by the song Green Light by Lorde.
The fifth prize goes to Peter Tsipas for his series inspired by the song Yeah Right by Vince Staples.
