Photojournalists and documentary film-makers from around the world are invited to join the first MeMo Masterclass. Applications are accepted until 31 August 2016. The intensive six-month course, led by photographers Manu Brabo, Fabio Bucciarelli, Jose Colon, Diego Ibarra Sánchez and Guillem Valle, is open to up to 25 participants – including five free scholarship places for photographers/videographers living in conflict zones.

The Masterclass encompasses one-on-one and group discussions, seminars and portfolio reviews, along with intensive guidance in all aspects of creating a reportage: from the development of the concept to the final stages of editing, post-production and distribution. The first meeting with all participants takes place in Turin, Italy, this November.

MeMo (Memory in Motion) is a digital magazine founded by five photographers with the aim of sharing stories that would otherwise remain unpublished. In the lead-up to the latest issue, LFI spoke to photographer Guillem Valle – read the interview on the LFI Blog.
