Eight days of photography with Magdalena Solé. Master class in the Mississippi Delta – from June 23 to 30, 2015
In connection with her new photo book, New Delta Rising, the Leica photographer will be running a comprehensive workshop on social reportage, for experienced and professional photographers. The event, from where photographic exploration tours will commence, is located at the Seven Chimneys Farm in the Mississippi Delta.
Among other things, the participants will learn how to work in other cultures and at different social levels, and how a reportage emerges as a result of choosing very specific images.
Magadalena Solés photographic emphasis is on social reportage. Born in Spain, Solé moved with her family to Switzerland when she was seven. Nowadays she lives in New York and Vermont. Her photo book, New Delta Rising, was published in 2011.
