Leica Gallery Milan presents the exhibition ‘Apparazioni – Avvistamenti, Incontri e Miraggi’: the exceptional showcase of works by Guido Harari is open until September 18, 2021.

An exclusive selection of works by photographer, critic and writer Guido Harari awaits those who visit Leica Gallery Milan this summer. The showcase, titled ‘Apparitions – Sightings, Encounters and Mirages’, was compiled by Harari specifically for Leica Gallery Milan, and marks the first cross-sectional survey of his vast oeuvre. More than 30 portraits of iconic personalities from the world of art and culture – ranging from David Bowie and Patti Smith to Greta Thunberg and Giorgio Armani – take the viewer on a unique journey that spans the photographer’s four decade-long career.

In the early 1970s, Guido Harari (b. 1952) established himself as a photographer and music journalist. He went on to create numerous album covers for international artists such as Kate Bush, David Crosby, Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Ute Lemper, Paul McCartney, Lou Reed, Simple Minds, and Frank Zappa.
