From June 7, the Bonnefantenmuseum is presenting an extensive selection of the photographic work of Andy Summers in the exhibition “A Certain Strangeness”. The opening on Thursday, June 6 will be attended by the artist.
The Bonnefantenmuseum presents an extensive selection of the photographic work of Andy Summers from the period 1979 to 2018. The exhibition A Certain Strangeness comprises a general part of 184 works and a separate series of 250 photos taken during the concert tours of The Police.
Since 1979 Summers has been a fanatic photographer. He has published four books: Throb (1983), Light Strings (2004), I’ll be Watching You (2007) and Desirer Walks the Street (2009).
