love me tender

October 31, 2018

The online photography platform ‘Slideluck Editorial’ has once again teamed up with its international partners to organise a global photo competition – this time with the theme of ‘love me tender’.
So many aspects of our individual and collective lives are shaped and influenced by love. The online platform Slideluck Editorial has now made this universal theme the topic of its latest photo competition: love me tender (which follows last year’s born the same) promotes an exploration of our deep human need for connection – be it in the context of romantic, social or even virtual relationships.

The organisers are looking for powerful visual stories about love and affection in our rapidly changing world. All winning projects will be exhibited at photo festivals in Barcelona, South America and Nigeria, and will also be featured in the publications of the platform’s media partners, YET and RVM Magazine. In addition, two of the ten winners will be able to use selected Leica cameras, lenses and accessories from the LFI loan pool for a period of one to two months in order to create a project of their choice.
LFI’s picture editor, Carol Körting, will be a member of this year’s international jury.

Submissions are open until 11 November. The winners will be announced on 19 November.
