From 28 June 2018 to 6 August 2018 Leica Gallery Los Angeles is showing works by Leica photographers Bil Brown, Jim Marshall and Mynxii White.

Bil Brown presents "From Protest to Performance: New Work 2016-18" a series of pictures that is inspired by past and contemporary history. He shows both editorials produced by him and reportage photography.

Jim Marshall has been working on the subject of "Peace" since the 1960s. Journalist and anthropologist in one, he documented life on the streets and collected photographs, which are now shown for the first time.

In her series "Revolt" Mynxii White focuses on the often neglected role that women played in the course of the history. She made portraits of female heroes who were either imprisoned or killed for their ideas.

The opening of the three seperate exhibitions will take place on 28 June from 6-9pm.
