Can you Imagine?

June 1, 2017

The 16th edition of the International Festival of Photography takes place in Lodz, Poland, from 1 to 11 June 2017.
From 1 to 11 June 2017, the Polish city of Lodz will be hosting the 16th edition of the Fotofestiwal – International Festival of Photography. New realities, quasi-biographies, strange and unfathomable worlds: for this year’s festival edition, the curators have invited artists who skilfully use fiction to comment on the here and now.

In addition to an extensive programme of exhibitions, the festival offers numerous fringe events in public spaces, a portfolio review, public screenings, workshops, photo book exhibitions, as well as a children’s programme.

A particular festival highlight is the finale of the Grand Prix, which will be awarded tonight.

Among the artists represented at the festival are Martin Kollar (winner of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2014), Joan Fontcuberta, Noémie Goudal, and Augustin Rebetez.
