The winners of this year’s internationally acclaimed Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA) photographic competition have been announced. In the main category the American photographer Mustafah Abdulaziz convinced the jury with his series titled ‘Water’.
In the category for up-and-coming photographers, German photographer Nanna Heitmann won the award with her project titled ‘Hiding from Baba Yaga’.
On September 24,2019 the winners and finalists will be honoured at a ceremony. The LOBA exhibition will be on view until October 25, 2019 at the New School for Photography in Berlin.
