As of today, Leica Gallery Wetzlar presents the winning and shortlisted projects of the Leica Oscar Barnack Award 2016.
Following presentations in Berlin, Paris and Lucca, the winners and finalists exhibition of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2016 has arrived at the Leica Gallery in Wetzlar. The show opens at the Leitz Park this evening, and continues until 11 June 2017.

The two winning projects are at the centre of the exhibition. French photographer Scarlett Coten received the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2016 for her series Mectoub, while the Newcomer Award went to Clémentine Schneidermann for her project The Unbearable, the Sadness and the Rest.

In addition, the 2016 edition for the first time also honoured ten finalists, whose work will also be displayed at the exhibition. The selected artists are Sadegh Souri, Stéphane Lavoué, William Daniels, Giulio Piscitelli, Vincent Delbrouck, Fulvio Bugani, Esther Teichmann, Guillaume Herbaut and Juan Pablo Bellandi.
