The last workshop of the year will be held by Tomas van Houtryve in November. Under the title Unleashing Your Creative Potential, the photographer shares his wealth of experience, illustrating how creative ideas are generated and turned into photo essays.
Participants will learn how to find inspiration outside of photography and channel it into building a narrative with images. On the first day, the portfolios and backgrounds of the participants will be examined, and the instructor will present case studies of how creative ideas are generated and turned into photo essays. For the second day, each participant will be assigned a specific theme to photograph. They will have the opportunity to edit and discuss the result with the instructor at the end of the day.
You can see his reportage Overshadowed by the Mine in M Magazine No. 4.
