Leica TL

November 8, 2016

Leica introduce a new digital APS-C format camera: the Leica TL.
Featuring a large CMOS image sensor in APS-C format, the Leica TL is based on the T camera system introduced in 2014. The TL continues the innovative camera concept with additional features and new design elements. These include the internal memory, which has doubled in size to encompass 32 gigabytes. Improvements have also been made to the autofocus, particularly in AF-C mode. Furthermore, the new camera offers optimised compatibility with Leica lenses from other camera systems.

The TL system currently has a portfolio of six lenses, comprising three prime and three vario lenses. Seeing as both the TL and the Leica SL share the same L-bayonet mount, the TL also supports SL lenses without the need for an adapter. In addition, R lenses can be used on the TL with the aid of the R-Adaptor L.

The Leica TL is available now, and comes in three colour variations: Black, Silver and Titanium.
