The winners of the 2022 Leica Street Photo contest have been announced – the 20 most outstanding entries are presented at the Leica Gallery in Warsaw until March 31, 2023.
More than 2000 photographers from 102 countries participated in the 12th edition of the international photo contest, organised by Leica Camera Poland.
The task of selecting the best works from a pool of almost 10,000 entries was carried out by a five-strong jury, which was comprised of photographers Sascha Van Der Werf and Przemek Chudkiewicz, Patryk Wiśniewski (Leica Camera Poland), David Rojkowski (LFI), and Maciej Zieliński (Digital Camera Poland).
The 20 winning images are exhibited at Leica Gallery Warsaw until March 31, 2023. This year’s Grand Prix goes to Polish photographer Beata Zawrzel for an image captured on March 1, 2022, on the Polish-Ukrainian border. She will receive a Leica SL2-S camera, along with a product voucher to the value of 1000 EUR.
