Leica presents a new styling concept for the Leica D-Lux compact camera. The Leica D-Lux solid gray, a two-tone alternative to the current standard model with its discreet black body and lens, will be available from the end of November 2015. In this new styling concept, the lens and control elements are now in silver.

The technical specifications of the Leica D-Lux solid gray are identical to those of the standard model. The highlights of the camera include a fast, Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9–34 mm f/1.7–2.8 Asph lens that is ideally matched to its large four-thirds sensor and delivers exceptional imaging performance. As a zoom lens with an extremely practical range of focal lengths, equivalent to 24 to 75 mm in 35 mm format, it is ideal for almost all genres of photography.

Further creative scope is offered by 4K video capability and an integrated WiFi module for remote control of the camera from a smartphone or tablet PC and wireless transmission of still and moving picture data. The Leica Image Shuttle app required for this function can be downloaded free of charge and installed on iOS or Android devices.
