From April 15 to May 10, 2015, the Leica Gallery Los Angeles is presenting an exhibition of works by Glen Craig. Titled "A Day In The Life of Miles Davis", the gallery is showing intimate images from the life of the American jazz musician.
A production company introduced the photographer and the jazz musician to each other at the end of the sixties. They developed a close friendship, which allowed Craig to photograph Davis not only at the music studio, but also at home and at the fitness studio.
Glen Craig, was born in 1949 in New York, where he studied at the Parsons School of Design. In 1965, a chance encounter with B.B.King introduced him to the world of music photography; since then he has worked with many music legends.
