Photographers from around the world are invited to submit their work for the renowned Kuala Lumpur International Photoawards (KLPA) – the entry deadline is April 30, 2020.
Participants are able to upload a maximum of 10 photographs in the ‘Single Image’ category, and 6 to 12 photographs in the category of ‘Photo Essay’. The winners will be chosen by an international jury (which this year includes LFI’s picture editor Carol Körting), and announced in July 2020. Prior to this, 45 finalists will be revealed in June. All shortlisted works are to be presented at the Ilham Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in September, and will subsequently be featured at selected, international photo festivals.
The KLPA Portrait Prize is awarded annually by Photoshelter, Format.com and the World Photography Organisation.
