Through to March 15, 2023, photographers from around the world are able to enter their work for the Kolga Tbilisi Photo Award 2023 – Georgia’s most prestigious photo contest. There are no age restrictions, and participants are free to choose the themes of their submitted work.
The 2023 edition encompasses the following categories: Documentary Series, Reportage and Conceptual Photo Project, as well as Single Image and Mobile Photo/One Shot.
The participation fee is 30 USD. This flows into the prize fund, which totals 6000 USD. The best series in the first three categories stand to receive 1500 USD each; the best Single Image winner will be awarded 1000 USD, while the Mobile Photo/One Shot category is endowed with 500 USD.
This year’s international jury is comprised of Chris Suspect (photographer, Washington/USA), Ian Teh, (photographer, Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia), Natan Dvir, (photographer, New York/USA/Tel Aviv/Israel) and Tina Schelhorn (gallerist and curator, Germany).
The winners will be announced on May 4, 2023.
