Inka and Niclas Lindergård are an award-winning, Finnish-Swedish artist duo whose work explores contemporary perception processes with regards to nature, and the relationship between photography and the visual stylisation of landscapes.

While their earlier projects were often created in expansive, magnificent landscapes outside of Sweden, the showcase ‘Luminous Matter’ focuses on depictions of wild flowers and weeds found near the artists’ home. Using micro and macro perspectives, the duo takes a partially introspective approach that reflects the increasingly wide-spread desire to understand and connect with our immediate environment.

The exhibition comprises excerpts from three separate series – ‘Luminous Matter’, ‘Family Portraits’ and ‘Liquify’ – which were produced simultaneously.
