From 29 May to 16 June 2019, the ImageSingulières festival will once again transform the Southern-French city of Sète into a vibrant meeting place for photographers and photography enthusiasts from around the world. Museums, galleries, as well as train stations, churches and disused school buildings will host exhibitions by renowned artists such as Nina Berman, Adriana Lestido, Jon Lowenstein, Yan Ming, Ronan Guillou and Nick Hannes.
Vanessa Winship was selected as this year’s artist-in-residence: from November to January, the British photographer explored Sète and the surrounding area with her camera. The results will now be presented at the Chapelle du Quartier-Haut for the duration of the festival, whose extensive programme also includes discussion rounds, documentary film screenings, workshops, and much more.
