The 13th edition of ImageSingulières in Sète, South of France, was originally planned for May 2021. Now the festival’s exhibition programme has been rescheduled to span from July 2021 to April 2022.

The ImageSingulières festival for documentary photography is going ahead with a programme of outstanding exhibitions. Laura Pannack is represented with her striking portraits of young people from the North of England; also on show are works by Ute Mahler, who documented life in East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall.

At the Musée de l'Etang de Thau, an exhibition by Clémentine Schneidermann marks the centenary of George Brassens: in 2020, Schneidermann dedicated her residency to tracing the iconic chansonnier’s legacy in Sète.

The Tendance Floue Collective celebrates its 30th anniversary with an imposing mural inspired by its film POESIS. The new Centre Photographique Documentaire presents a poetic portrait of Sète and the surrounding area, created by this year’s artist-in-residence, Hugues de Wurstemberger.
