The winners of the 31st ICP Infinity Awards have been announced.
The winners of the 31st Infinity Awards have been announced. Each year, the International Center of Photography (ICP) honours outstanding achievements in the field of photography with awards in seven categories. The official prize-giving ceremony takes place in New York on 30 April 2015.

This year, the work of Mexican photographer Graciella Iturbide will be recognised with the Cornell Capa Lifetime Achievement Award. In the category of Photojournalism, Tomas van Houtryve will be honoured for his project Blue Sky Days – a series of aerial images of America taken with the aid of drones.

The Newcomer Award goes to Evgenia Arbugaeva, who visited meteorological outposts along the Barents Sea for her series Weather Man. The project was created for the special LFI edition 10x10, published to mark the 100th anniversary of Leica photography. You can find the magazine at www.lfi-online.de

The ICP Infinity Award for New Media is given to the collective project Question Bridge: Black Males by Chris Johnson, Hank Willis Thomas, Bayeté Ross Smith, Kamal Sinclair and Jesse Williams. American photographer Larry Fink, best known for his black-and-white work, will be honoured in the category of Art Photography.
