IBB Photography Award 2014

November 12, 2014

The winning works of Victoria Tomaschko and Felix Kiessling are displayed in the atrium of the IBB Investment Bank in Berlin.
Victoria Tomaschko won this year's IBB Photography Award for her stylistically severe, yet emotionally captivating images of people on the edge of society. The 5,000 euro award is given out by the Investitionsbank Berlin in co-operation with the Friends of UdK / Karl Hofer Society. The winner also benefits from an exhibition at the IBB atrium, as well as an exhibition catalogue financed by the bank.

In addition, a recognition prize was awarded to Felix Kiessling, a graduate of Olafur Eliasso's educational research project, the Institute for Spatial Experiments. As well as his participation in the exhibition, Kiessling also received a 3,000 euro contribution towards printing-costs.

The winners, both of whom are graduates of the University of Applied Arts (UdK) Berlin, were chosen from almost 40 participants, by an expert jury consisting of Marius Babias, Ingeborg Ruthe and Ingo Taubhorn.
