Life in colour


Photographers can still apply for the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award up until December 31, 2014. This is the fourth edition of the highly acclaimed HIPA Award. For photographers, it represents an opportunity to explore the beauty of the world surrounding them, to distil a story and to present one of life's touching moments.

An open letter
This year's competition comes with four categories, where photographers need to give proof of their ability to discern every detail. The categories are: 'Life in Colour', 'General', 'Portraits (black and white)' and 'Night Photography'. The competition is endowed with a grand prize of $US120,000.
