From February 11 to March 31, 2016, the Freelens Gallery in Hamburg is presenting a group exhibition based on the theme of escape.

Escaping Death, Between, and Germany – the titles of the individual exhibits indicate the broad range of themes that visitors to the Freelens Gallery in Hamburg can expect as of February 11. This is when Philipp Reiss, Felix Kleymann, Gesche Jäger, Zino Peterek and Lars Krüger present parts of the broad, on-going social projects which accompany refugees at the beginning, during and end of their current journeys. Within this project, the photographers not only direct the attention to the stress and strains of the endeavour, but also to the hopefulness of daily life between old and new homes.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 19:00.
