Matthew Hamon wins the 2018 Hellerau Photography Award

In 2017, ‘HELLERAU – the European Arts Centre Dresden’ and the ‘Art Agency Dresden’ launched the PORTRAITS competition for the third time. On the occasion of the vernissage of the main exhibition on February 8, 2018, the ten-person jury announced the award winners. The exhibition at the Festspielhaus Hellerau and the first satellite exhibitions in downtown Dresden will be on display until Easter: they include solo exhibitions of works by Matthew Hamon, who came in first, and César Dezfuli who came in second. During the coming weeks, numerous guided tours and workshops will be held during the main PORTRAITS exhibition at the Festspielhaus Hellerau.
