Claude Iverné is the winner of the 2015 Henri Cartier Bresson Award.
Claude Iverné is the winner of the 2015 Henri Cartier Bresson Award. The jury was duly impressed by his Sudanese Photographs, Gazelle River project. The award comes with grant money amounting to 35,000 euros, which are to be used to continue working on an already existent photo project.

The series represents the second part of Iverné's long-term project – a portrait of the Sudan and its people, this time in the south of the country. In the spring of 2017, the pictures will be on display at the HCB Foundation in Paris, and in the autumn of 2017 at the Aperture Foundation in New York.
