Dream images of a generation

July 18, 2017

From July 29 to November 19, the Sprengel Museum in Hanover is presenting ‘It's all connected somehow’, an exhibition of works by Sascha Weidner.
On July 28, 2017, at 18:30, the Sprengel Museum in Hanover is hosting the vernissage of the first viewing of the estate of Sascha Weidner. Titled ‘It’s all connected somehow’, the exhibition presents works by the photographer who passed away in 2015. They remain on display until November 19, 2017.

The pictures Weidner (1974–2015) produced are largely defined by the perceptions, longings and dream images of a generation, whose credo is probably best described by the slogan “No future – much present”. Weidner left behind a very comprehensive body of work, that was gifted, along with his archives, to the Sprengel Museum in Hanover. The exhibition offers a first glimpse into the artist’s legacy.
