WE LOVE BRITAIN!

The exhibition We love Britain is the result of an invitation: For more than 16 months, Martin Parr searched the German county of Lower Saxony for possible signs of 'Britishness'. His yield includes photographs of birthday celebrations in honour of Queen Elisabeth, a Lady Diana Club, privately owned military museums, a collection of James Bond memorabilia, British Garrisons in Bergen-Hohne, Fallingbostel and Hameln, and much, much more.

The exhibition Martin Parr. We love Britain includes around 70 selected photographs taken in this context. An accompanying publication is also available.

In addition, the exhibition also features an extensive selection of photographs from eight previous series: A total of 380 prints displayed in an area of more than 700 square metres offers a comprehensive insight into different phases of Martin Parr's creative work.
