STREET. LIFE. PHOTOGRAPHY in Hamburg

Hamburg’s seventh Triennial of Photography dedicates a showcase to street photography in all its facets.
The exhibition [SPACE] STREET. LIFE. PHOTOGRAPHY – on display from 8 June to 21 October as part of Hamburg’s Triennial of Photography – examines the history of street photography with a showcase spanning seven decades. Influential masters of the genre, such as Bruce Gilden, Martin Parr or Joel Meyerowitz, are joined by international talents such as Maciej Dakowicz, Mohamed Bourouissa and Ahn Jun. A total of 52 photographers are represented with more than 320 works, which are displayed in the form of seven theme-based chapters: Street Life, Public Transport, Urban Space, Geometric Forms, Anonymity, Alienation, and Chance Meetings.
