The Atelier Jungwirth in Graz presents the exhibition ‘Aglaia Szyszkowitz by Christian Jungwirth’, open from 28 January to 14 April 2018.
The Austrian actress Aglaia Szyszkowitz (b. 1968) initially started to study medicine, but soon found her vocation on stage and in front of the camera. She graduated from the drama school of the Wiener Volkstheater in Vienna, and subsequently worked in theatres in various cities in Germany. In 1995, she began her career in cinema and TV.
Photographer Christian Jungwirth repeatedly met and photographed the actress over the years. This exhibition, which marks Szyszkowitz’s 50th birthday, for the first time shows personal photographs along with press pictures from various stages of her career.
