Leica photographer Gérard Musy is set to host an extraordinary evening of fine art and social elegance: the monochrome-themed event takes place in Fontainebleau, near Paris, on September 5, 2020 (starting at 17.00).
After a candlelit dinner in a medieval chapel, set in the grounds of a beautiful country home, the series ‘Leaves – Wandering Days’ by Gérard Musy will be presented as an open-air projection. The dress code for all attending guests is black and white, in reflection of the showcased, monochrome images – all of which were captured with the Leica M4-P and a Summilux-M 50 f/1.4.
The Paris-based Leica photographer has been honoured with multiple awards, and is represented in the collections of the Bibliothéque Nationale de France, the Swiss Foundation for Photography in Winterthur, and the Museum de l’Elysée in Lausanne.
