Images of Peace

October 16, 2020

The Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva presents the group exhibition ‘Imagine. Reflections on Peace’. Open until January 10, 2021.
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum has teamed up with the VII Foundation to present the showcase ‘Imagine. Reflections on Peace’. The exhibition investigates the peace processes (and their outcomes) in countries that have experienced drawn-out conflict: Lebanon, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Rwanda, Cambodia and Colombia.

Renowned photojournalists who have explored these places offer their visual reflections on how peace is built in everyday life. Their images show peace to be a tenuous process – a complex reality made up of successes and set-backs, hope and hesitation.

The exhibition features works by Gary Knight, Stephen Ferry, Ron Haviv, Jack Picone, Roland Neveu, Don McCullin, Nichole Sobecki, and Gilles Peress.
