‘Fotoprojekte Liedtke’ are looking for unusual photographic approaches to the Coronavirus pandemic. Submissions can be made in the form of single images or series. All genres are welcome – from photojournalism to fine-art photography, from documentary images to orchestrated scenes, portraits or self portraits, with or without accompanying text. The images can be captured with any photographic tool, be it a mobile phone or an infrared or large format camera.
The submitted images might address topics such as constructive ways of dealing with the global crisis, the direct and indirect suffering caused by the coronavirus, the outrageous claims of Covid deniers, the everyday realities of doctors, scientists and carers, as well as the closing of borders and cultural venues.
The best entries will be selected by a jury and exhibited at the Science Park Gelsenkirchen. The showcase is scheduled to open in late September / early October, with a run time of around three months.
Entries are accepted until August 31, 2021. USB sticks and CDs can be sent to Fotoprojekte Liedtke, Peter Liedtke, Munscheidstr. 14, 45886 Gelsenkirchen, download links to email@example.com. All images must have a minimum size of 1280 pixels.
