Women Photograph + Getty Images Scholarship – Tami Aftab
This year’s Women Photograph grantees have been announced: Gabriella N. Báez (Puerto Rico), Sahar Coston-Hardy (USA), Peyton Fulford (USA), Roopa Gogineni (France & Kenya) and Sandra Mehl (France) were selected from a pool of almost 1,300 applicants from around the world. Each of the selected winners stands to receive $5,000. This year’s $10,000 scholarship has been awarded to British photographer Tami Aftab.
The Women Photograph initiative was established in 2017 with the aim of supporting female and non-binary photographers making their way in a still largely male-dominated industry.
